I upgraded my Mac to the newest OS. My ScanSnap software was no longer supported by this new OS, so as per the directions on the Fujitsu website I installed the Scansnap home software to rectify this. After installing, I was again able to scan but unable to save multiple pages as one .pdf. I emailed Fujitsu and they got me in touch with support right away. They were fantastic at responding quickly and helping me adjust the software settings to fix my problem. Thank You Fujitsu!
I'm disappointed about Fujitsu's decision to stop production of and to stop service of their S510M ScanSnap scanner. I had purchased several of these over a few years and they had worked amazingly! I just had a small broken part and now they don't service them at all. So about $400 down the drain. Their latest scanners are now over CDN $500 plus tax. I went to a local large computer store chain and got an Epson for about $150 less (on sale) and it works faster and with a better Mac user interface! Sorry Fujitsu: You lost a customer who would have purchased several more units from you. I loved your product! Service on the phone was cordial and the customer rep was clear on their policy.
