 My wife and I recently dealt with Steele Althouse for the sale of our old house and purchase of our new one. While our experience was specific to conveyance of real estate, I have to imagine that we would have had the same experience no matter what our needs were. Throughout the whole process, Steele struck the perfect balance of professionalism and familiarity. He was very personable and friendly, but never left us wondering as to his professional credentials. We were well informed throughout the entire process. His explanations to our questions were simple enough for us to understand, but obviously displayed a depth of knowledge of which we were only scratching the surface. While our transactions were relatively straightforward in the grand scheme of real estate, there were a few complexities, not the least of which was an extremely short closing period. Steele kept his cool through numerous delays and changes and (my apologies to his long suffering wife), was willing to stay late and come in early in order to make sure our file was wrapped up in time. He obviously had business lined up out the door and could very well have sent us elsewhere, but he committed to making it work for us and followed through. We will be back again for sure when we sell our current house!
