Today was likely our last visit with Dr. Arnold, and I couldn't help feel a little sadness as we left his office after he was able to remove my son's tubes today - he told us there is a 1 in 10 chance that we'd have a recurrence - so not likley. It has been probably close to two years now since we first met with Dr. Arnold regarding our son's constant Ear infections, he eventually recommended tubes after a couple visits/another ear infection, we had surgery to install the tubes, and then we've had appointments every couple of months with Dr. Arnold to follow up on our progress. I honestly can't say enough good things to say about him! Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but he has amazing 'bedside manners', and he really knows how to work with little ones (and their parents). He gets the little ones involved, whether it be holding a flashlight, flipping it one, looking through a microscope lens, and then showing us all the tube that he just pulled out and explaining it all to us - while also doing his incredible 'Donald Duck' impression to make the kids (and parents) laugh! Dr. Arnold, while I hope we don't have any issues and have to come back, we will miss having you treat our children! Thank you for making, what started out as a very scary thought (our little guy having to have tubes put in), a very easy process!
