| Career History | Aneesha began her legal career at the Ministry of Labour, Legal Services Branch, where she conducted prosecutorial work related to occupational health and safety as well as employment standards violations. She also represented the Director of Employment Standards at appeal proceedings before the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Aneesha had the opportunity to be seconded to the Ontario Labour Relations Board, where she assisted the solicitors and Vice-Chairs with case-specific research. Aneesha has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board in matters relating to workplace issues. Having a special interest in Human Rights law, Aneesha also gained invaluable experience while working at a Human Rights law firm in Windhoek, Namibia as a participant in the Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyers International Program. |
