Asif Anwar, Barrister & Solicitor

In 2001, Asif did Master of Laws from Bond University Australia and rejoined CLA, as Partner. During his association with CLA, Asif has practiced in wide range of legal areas like Corporate, Commercial, Banking, IPR Laws, IT Services, Immigration, and Family Laws. Asif extended advocacy, consultancy and legal services to individuals, proprietorships, partnerships, banks and multi national companies and foreign embassies. Asif has negotiated and drafted various agreements including but not limited to business agreements, technology and software services, licensing and distribution agreements. Asif rendered consultancy service in jurisdiction and choice of law Issues, technology transfer, trademarks, domain names, brand protection and intellectual property protection strategies and enforcement of rights.

After moving to Toronto Canada and completing all law society’s licensing obligations, started working in Canada. Before starting ILM Law, Asif has worked at Pitblado, a top law firm based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
