| Description | Carmen grew up in a small, francophone community in rural northern Alberta and now practices with Gunn Law Group in the city of Edmonton. Carmen has experience in a number of areas of law but focuses her practice on family law, wills and estates, and adult guardianship and trusteeship. Her goal is to help families through very difficult circumstances without further damaging the relationships, if possible. To that end, she is a registered collaborative family law lawyer and offers mediation services as well. However, when necessary, she will strongly advocate for her clients within the court process.Carmen is fully bilingual and can offer services to french-speaking clients. |
I unfortunately had to use the Services of Shannon Gunn Emery for a very complicated case. That being said Mrs. Emery showed me so much compassion and actually felt like she understood and cared about me and my case. She is very knowledgeable and loves what she does her commitment to her profession is very apparent. I have seen her in action in the courtroom and she does not disappoint. My matter was extremely complicated and she took the time to meet with me on many occasions and kept me informed about every decision that was made.
