| Description | Charles is an associate in McMillan’s Corporate Restructuring and Business Law practice groups.Charles holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Corporate & Commercial Law from University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Prior to his LL.M. degree program, he obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, was admitted to the Nigerian bar as Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2007 and practised business law in two prominent law firms in Nigeria’s commercial centre of Lagos, advising clients on banking and finance transactions, general corporate commercial matters, as well as providing corporate secretarial services to companies operating within a broad spectrum of industries. Most of his clients in Nigeria were banks and other financial institutions, as well as energy & projects companies raising capital in the Nigerian market. Charles is also a graduate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria.Before joining McMillan, Charles completed his articles with the banking and financial services practice group at the Calgary offices of a major national law firm. |
