Douglas’ practice covers all aspects of general insurance liability, with a particular emphasis on commercial general liability, tort claims, municipal liability, occupiers’ liability, product liability, professional negligence and property damage and fire loss. Prior to practicing law, Douglas graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario (2002). In 2005, Douglas received his Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Public Policy from McMaster University. He received his law degree from the University of Calgary in 2010. In 2015, Douglas completed the Osgoode Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop. Douglas is currently a member-at-large for the CBA Insurance Law Section. |

My experience with Aviva (auto) has been amazing, which prompted me to write this review. My car was hit by another, and I immediately called Aviva. I was connected with Gaganinder O. (claims adjuster). He provided me such professional customer service and made the claims process flawless. With friendly and courteous service, he set everything up - connected me to the body shop, arranged car rental, and provided me with updates regarding claim status and estimates. No payments, no worries, and no stress. The referred body shop performed great work, and everything was completed in 5 days. I have been using Aviva for many years and will continue to do so.
