I have dealt with a few different lawyers here from the Edmonton office - Chris Lane (employment law), James Lingwood (alcohol/drugs in the workplace), Vicki Giles (employment law). I have found them to be knowledgeable, thorough and reliable. The response times - especially from James - are actually very impressive when compared with other larger firms I've dealt with. Their charge-out rates are relatively higher than most - but you get what you pay for - and I'm okay with that trade-off. They also host an annual employment law update conference (spring of each year, I believe) which is a good overview/discussion of the latest trends in employment law.
