 Although my wife has already left a review above, I must respond to the drive-by smear by Mr. Houle. The only element of truth in that sentence is that Joseph can talk quickly. But when you are paying by the hour, I count that a plus. The very first email Joseph sends you when you inquire about retaining him contains a lengthy list of things you can do to minimize his time and fees. He is also one of a very few trained mediators, which means he is licensed to do all he can to avoid the need for lawyers. He is like a trade person who will arrive at your house, diagnose the problem and, if possible, give you practical DIY advice to get the job done yourself. I have witnessed him as my lawyer practicing in difficult situations with both tact and forcefulness, precisely when they are needed. Law is not only about books, it demands keen observance of human nature or else you can damage your client's case. I can only imagine that Mr. Houle was in a bad life situation and needed to vent. My wife and I have had a few such situations and having Joseph in our corner has sometimes been the only peace of mind we had.
