| Description | Katherine Bueti, a Founding Senior Partner of Bueti Wasyliw Wiebe, was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2000, and practices in all areas of criminal and youth law. She began her legal career in 1998 as a summer student with Gindin Wolson Simmonds (as it then was), where she later articled, and worked ultimately as a senior associate. In 2009, Katherine left Gindin Wolson Simmonds Roitenberg in order to start the partnership that is now Bueti Wasyliw Wiebe.Katherine’s preferred area of practice is criminal defence, and she has represented clients with charges ranging from traffic offences to First Degree Murder. She has appeared in all levels of court in Canada including the historic first case the Supreme Court of Canada heard outside of Ottawa. She regularly appears in all levels of court in Manitoba ranging from Administrative Tribunals to the Court of Appeal. She has travelled and worked extensively throughout the province, including many Northern remote communities, as well as in Western and Southern Ontario. |
