VPD established on 5-10-1886 with one man Constable John Stewart to now with over 1700 civilian and sworn members. 1912 VPD became the first city to hire a female officer. At Trump Tower they were present keeping safe diplomats to visitors. Witnessed VPD walking the beat at Coal Harbor thanks (vagrants were out attired in 80's wear.) Time in all things. And I am grateful for the interaction and opportunities to experience excellence first hand. Deputy Chief is Constable Howard Chow. Yes this Police Department has fast Dodge Chargers.
