Joel is an excellent lawyer, and I am pleased with the outcome of my case. My case was complicated, and lasted 2 years. During that time, Joel was always available for me. At the beginning, I spoke with him most days and he kept me updated and explained things clearly so that we could make sound decisions together. As time went on, we needed to talk less, but he was always available. Joel is thoughtful and willing to try whatever is needed to be successful. He was careful and deliberate in how he timed my court dates so they worked best for my outcome. My case was unusual, and Joel researched and reached out to other professionals to get the help we needed to be successful. I give Joel my highest recommendation- he is truly the best.
Joel Whysall was my lawyer for very serious drug charges. Federal Crown Prosecution was asking for jail time. My case was very complex as there were multiple co-accused, police agents, wire taps, and surveillance resulting in a very large file. Joel meticulously went through every document, each surveillance recording and report. After doing so, he advised me of his opinion and developed an action plan recommending trial. I was concerned of the cost and he made recommendations to reduce the cost. He ran a very effective and successful trial which resulted in a suspended sentence.
Joel treated me with respect, kindness and dignity. He responded to each phone call, email and text. He never rushed me or made me feel my questions were stupid.

First call with Cathryn she sounded so down to earth it was comforting. Answered all my questions and gave me a break down on what will / could happen. Had to deal with a serious assault matter. And to be honest i wasnt worried at all. I kept working in fort mac and she did what she had to do and i just kept working waiting for the thing to blow over. Was worry free since day one. She puts her time and effort in. 110% reccomend.
