| Profile | Peter’s practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate, corporate/commercial matters in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and partnership agreements, directors’ liability, business reorganizations and debt and equity financing transactions, and debtor/creditor law, including restructuring. He counts among his clients institutional lenders and numerous small and medium-sized entrepreneurial-based companies. In the insolvency area, he acts for both debtors and creditors. For many years, he served on the Board of Directors of a corporation which trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) holding several positions including chair of the board, chair of the compensation committee and a member of the audit committee. He is a member of the Board of Directors of of a youth mental health organization in Toronto offering a broad range of services to at risk children from the ages of 13 to 18 and previously served as chair of the board of that organization. |
