| Description | Nida was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017 and practices civil and commercial litigation. Nidaarticled at a civil litigation boutique in downtown Toronto and summered with legal services at the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health. Nida hold a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from McMaster University where she graduated suma cum laude and received the President’s Award and the Reverend Allison M. Barrett Scholarship for academic excellence. She obtained her J.D. from Queen’s University and was awarded the McDougall-Watson Memorial award for excellence in file work at Queen’s Legal Aid . Nida is an active volunteer with the Refugee Sponsorship Support Program, the Canadian Cross Border Legal Coalition, and Advocates Abroad. She is also an executive member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and sits on the Research Ethics Board at Sunnybrook Hospital. |
