| Description | Richard graduated with honours at the University of Western Ontario in 1998, and went on to graduate from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2002. While attending Osgoode, Richard was a founding member of the Small Claims Court Information Clinic and assisted the public with Court forms and procedure. In his final year of law school, Richard attended the Monash Law School in Melbourne Australia, where he volunteered twice a week at the Springvale Legal Clinic and provided legal services to low-income clients in disadvantaged communities.
After articling for a boutique real estate law firm, Richard joined Levitt, Lightman, Dewar & Graham LLP in December 2003. Since joining the firm, Richard’s broadening areas of practice include commercial and wills and estates law, residential real estate law, and corporate law. Most recently, Richard has lectured in the area of corporate law at the Toronto Business Development Centre to participants enrolled in the Ontario Self-Employment Benefit Program. Richard is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and is currently a director of Etobicoke Services for Seniors. |
