| Description | In 2004, Shayle Rothman was awarded his international Juris Doctorate degree (cum laude), specialization in Corporate & Commercial Law from Bond University (Australia) which consisted of international exchanges at Duke University School of Law (United States) and the University of British Columbia School of Law (Canada). Shayle was then immediately called to the New South Wales (Australia) Bar, and has since been called to the Ontario Bar, after articling with the RBC Law Group.Shayle Rothman’s current legal practice focuses on real estate transactions, private mortgages, estate planning and corporate and commercial matters.Shayle has acted for major financial institutions such as RBC, Scotiabank, TD Canada Trust, Bank of Montreal, CIBC, Home Trust, Regency Trust, HSBC, ING and other reputable trust companies involving mortgage transactions. Private mortgage lenders retain Shayle to perform due diligence and consultations regarding the advancement of mortgage monies for both residential and commercial financing (including construction deals).Shayle has a diversified legal background working for the following: •McCarthy Tetrault, Canada’s largest law firm •Ontario Ministry of Labour •Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, CLOC Division •RBC Law Group.
