| Description | Stefan Mirkovic is an active member of Miller Thomson’s Financial Services and Real Estate groups, specializing in acting for lenders and borrowers in secured transactions in the mid-market and corporate finance areas, as well as for landlords and tenants in commercial real estate transactions. Stefan’s practice includes providing strategic advice on secured and unsecured debt financing, including in single lender and syndicated financings, acquisition financing, and mortgage financing across a broad range of industries including, general corporate, automotive and equipment finance, food and agriculture, construction and real estate financing, media and sports, and commercial lending. He works with other team members to ensure that clients’ corporate finance and conveyancing matters are handled effectively and efficiently. Stefan also has experience handling general corporate matters for private companies and start-ups.
Prior to obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary, Stefan completed four years of undergraduate studies in economics at McMaster University, obtaining an honours distinction. Stefan also studied aviation and obtained his solo pilot’s license. In his spare time, Stefan enjoys DJing, playing tennis and basketball, and travelling. Prior to joining Miller Thomson he articled with another prominent national law firm in Calgary. |
