| Description | Stewart Muglich is an Associate Counsel at Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang LLP and is the leader of the Corporate Finance + Securities Practice and the Mergers + Acquisitions Team. He is also a member of the Corporate / Commercial Practice Group.
Stewart has a broad range of experience in the corporate finance and securities areas, and has been involved in numerous corporate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations and going private transactions. He assists clients with public and private offerings and other financings, including exempt, registered, Rule 144A, Regulation S and initial public offerings, and acts for both issuers and investment bankers. Stewart also provides strategic advice on both proxy contests and hostile and negotiated takeover bids. He is experienced in cross-border offerings and acquisitions and is well versed in regulatory compliance issues, including corporate governance matters, which arise in Canada and the United States under the regulatory framework of the Toronto Stock Exchange, the TSX Venture Exchange, the Canadian Securities Exchange, NASDAQ, the NYSE, the Provinces of Canada, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. |
Matthew provided an amazing service in a very stressful time, we had an emergency timeline and he came through with the solution ultra fast. Nice people and a good location, very accessible
Ingrid Tsui recently prepared a will and Power of Attorney for my husband and me. She was thorough, informative, knowledgable and most importantly, had a warm demeanour. I felt like she really listened to our concerns and she gave us options on how to address those concerns. She explained the implications of the different scenarios and how it would play out for our executors and beneficiaries after we were gone. It was money well spent and I now have peace of mind that our affairs are in order for our family should anything happen to either of us. I highly recommend her.
I have dealt with AHBL on a couple of occasions. Firstly in regards to a home insurance issue, I found Mr. Hirst to be very knowledgeable and helpful.
