I am an alumni of the Big data Analytics course. I am glad I made the decision to upgrade my data skills with this course as I was able to land a high paying job in my field of expertise. The course director Prof. Anne-Marie Brinsmead is a very approachable person with lots of experience and caliber. Also, special thankyou to Dr. Dhanya Jothimani & Dr. Tamer Abdou, both outstanding professors, for helping me with my capstone project. In a nutshell, I highly recommend RU for this course.

Chang School at Ryerson University provides courses and classes for those who work part/full time and need to get a diploma or degree. Quality of education provides at Chang is acceptable, but not the best.

I took magazine publishing courses. The magazine publishing course were excellent, but I don't know about courses in other topics. By the way, if you are on low income, you can apply for the CESAR bursary (check deadlines) that can cover up to $500 towards a course. I got two bursaries before and it helped a lot. I find George Brown College also has good courses, more classroom hours for a lower price (it's the best deal), but in the Novel Writing 1 I'm taking this term, it seems the students at Ryerson are more diverse and therefore it's a better dynamic, even though the Novel Writing 1 course at GBC is 10 hours longer and $200 less. Maybe Ryerson courses are for specific subjects and for people who have money!
