| Description | Yusha is an Associate at McInnes Cooper’s St. John’s, NL office with an interest in corporate law, commercial litigation and energy and natural resources. Yusha has gained experience primarily in the areas of corporate law and litigation. He has experience drafting general corporate agreements and documents. He has also conducted research and assisted in matters involving corporate reorganization, corporate transactions, bankruptcies and insolvencies. In addition to his experience in corporate law, Yusha has a keen interest in litigation where he has supplemented his corporate knowledge by drafting pleadings, including: statements of claims, defences, third party claims and briefs.Yusha looks forward to building his practice and representing a diverse client base.Yusha received his Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at University of New Brunswick. During law school, he sat on two executive committees: the International Law Society and the Articling and Placement Committee. In his final year of law school, Yusha completed a Judicial Internship with the New Brunswick Court of Appeal.He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.Outside of the office, Yusha enjoys volunteering in his community and has spent several years volunteering as a coach with Special Olympics. In his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching sports, reading, and travelling. |
