Let me begin writing this review by saying that I am so thankful that lawyers like Mr Andrew Porter exist and that he has a knowledgeable and very friendly staff crew also. Aisen especially is the nicest assistant anyone would wish to have! She never got tired of answering my endless calls and emails... In 2015 I was caught working illegally in Canada and was banned for a year... I was very worried therefore that, even after marrying my Canadian resident spouse, there was a very good chance my application for permanent residency would be rejected due to my prior behaviour and all the horror stories I had heard from others in my situation. I contacted Mr. Porter, had a consultation over the phone, paid $250 which was later on deducted from my case fee, and got all the information needed to start the process for me re-entering Canada and finally be able to live with my husband. My case was filed on August 3rd 2017 and today, March 1st 2018 I am officially a Canadian resident!!! Not even an interview was requested!! I am so pleased and happy with their services that I've been recommending this law firm to anyone I get the chance to!! Yes they are professional and yes they are knowledgeable, but mostly what I will always be most greatful about is how humble, caring and kind they are, Mr. Porter should write a manual on manners of how lawyer's should act (wink wink).
