| Description | Mr. Sangra is currently General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Pinnacle Renewable Energy. Pinnacle was founded in 1989 and became a public company in February 2018. Its shares are listed and traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: PL). Pinnacle is a rapidly growing industrial wood pellet manufacturer and distributor and one of the largest producers in the world. It produces renewable fuel for electricity generation in the form of industrial wood pellets. Prior to joining Pinnacle, he spent nearly 10 years at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers and most recently as Vice President, Legal Affairs. Prior to joining Ritchie Bros., he was an in-house lawyer at CHC Helicopter Corporation and an associate at McCarthy Tetrault and Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy in Vancouver. He is active in his local community through his work on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association and the Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers. He attended the Leadership in Corporate Counsel Program at Harvard Law School, and he holds the Certified In-House Counsel – Canada (CIC.C) designation from the Rotman School of Management. He received his J.D. from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a BA degree in International Relations. |
