| Description | Alison Oxtoby is a lawyer at Balmains Law Corporation, where she works primarily in the areas of trusts & estates, corporate/commercial law and tax-planned corporate reorganizations. She is a former member of the executive of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Vancouver Branch, the Past-Chair of the STEP Okanagan Chapter and Past Co-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Okanagan Wills & Trusts Section. She has lectured on a number of topics at the UVic and UBC law schools, at Okanagan College and for a number of educational organizations, including Continuing Legal Education of BC, the Law Society’s Professional Legal Training Program, Federated Press, STEP and the Canadian Bar Association. |
