The University of Calgary (U of C or UCalgary) is a public research university located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The University of Calgary started in 1944 as the Calgary branch of the University of Alberta, founded in 1908, prior to being instituted into a separate, autonomous university in 1966. It is composed of 14 faculties and over 85 research institutes and centres. The main campus is located in the northwest quadrant of the city near the Bow River and a smaller south campus is located in the city center. The main campus houses most of the research facilities and works with provincial and federal research and regulatory agencies, several of which are housed next to the campus such as the Geological Survey of Canada. About a month ago I drove around campus. It had been at least 15 years since I had been on campus and I was in for a shock. It is incredible how much building is happening and some of the roads have been rebuilt and reconnected. I always feel rejuvenated when driving on campus as it takes me back to my old university days. At the time it did not feel so great sometimes and now look back on that period with nostalgia and miss them. Had a wonderful experince with twinkle patel and she is very friendly. She has done beautiful henna for eid right on time???? One of the top canadian universities. As an engineer you can find anything there to make your dream real. The university regulations are not that much complicated to became a barrier. Stated multiple times as one of the top universities in Canada. I interned at the University of Calgary in the ICT building at the SMILE Lab. I found the university to be really spacious and beautiful in sync with the natural beauty that Calgary has to offer. The university has a huge gym, olympic sized stadium and multiple hostels inside the campus. There's campus security all over the clock.
