| Description | Jacqueline has been practicing family law exclusively since 2003. She joined BSLSC in 2005 and became a partner in 2012.
Her philosophy for law is simple: if you can empower clients and provide them with information, resources, and support their choices become more clearly defined. She’s found this particularly helpful in family law. Jacqueline’s experience in both Collaborative and Traditional Negotiation as well as Litigation and Mediation allows her to give her clients the best chance at finding the optimal approach for them. Ms. Peeters did an outstanding job representing me during my separation. My ex and her lawyer tried to make the process as difficult as possible. During this, Ms. Peeters never reacted to their bating. She maintained a friendly, professional manner which probably kept us from winding up in court.
During times when I felt incredibly frustrated and wanted to quit or go to court, Ms. Peeters encouraged (and insisted) that I stick to the process. She did what was in my best interests and not necessarily what I wanted in the moment. I truly appreciate it.
