| Description | Julio Mena is a member of the Labour, Employment and Human Rights group at the Montréal office of Fasken. His practice focuses on immigration law, more particularly the relocation of employees and executives.
Julio advises and represents clients in numerous areas related to immigration, including the hiring and termination of temporary foreign workers, applications for work permits, compliance reviews and employer inspections, and permanent residence applications for investors and skilled workers. Julio also assists clients in connection with merger and acquisition transactions from an immigration perspective. Before joining Fasken, Julio practised immigration law with a large international law firm. He also gained unique experience working for the Government of Canada (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). Lastly, he volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, working at an Ottawa community centre. |
