| Description | Benjamin practices in the areas of real estate, wills & estates, and corporate matters. Benjamin represents his clients in real estate matters involving purchases, sales and financing. He has also represented clients in business or corporate asset purchases and sales, including the assumption of existing commercial leases, or the negotiation and drafting of new leases for clients planning on leasing commercial properties for their businesses. Benjamin also advises clients on estate planning and administration matters, including the drafting of wills, powers of attorney and representation agreements, preparing probate applications, communicating with and satisfying estate creditors, managing estate funds, and reporting to and distributing estate funds to beneficiaries. He also advises clients on dealing with family owned real property, and has acted on matters of transferring properties among spouses, parents or children. Benjamin also completes corporate/commercial work for clients, including advising on incorporations and share structuring, preparing shareholder agreements, acting for clients on the purchase or sale of shares, and drafting and negotiating commercial leases. |
