He has acted for multiple First Nations and their economic development businesses in a variety of industries including the oilsands, oil and gas, pipeline, utility, tourism, and fishing industries. Brock also has extensive experience in helping First Nations deal with their land (and related residential and commercial real estate development) matters under the Indian Act, First Nations Land Management Act, and modern Treaty (Final Agreement).Brock also assists non-First Nation clients with their corporate/commercial matters, including various commercial real estate, financing, and share/asset transactions.Brock was born and raised in Treaty No. 8 territory in Fort St. John, British Columbia, and is a member of the Bigstone Cree Nation located in north-central Alberta. He resides in Treaty No. 6 territory in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and enjoys the outdoors and amateur astronomy in his spare time. |
