Better reperesentation then no representation. But to be fair, and to ensure a good outcome, it would be helpful to have the option of a paired therapist in cases that involve trauma and the person remains unconnected. The court needs to have some ability to account for differences in recall and perception due to trauma. I think generally firms are under paid to represent clients and it would be great if they were paid more or if there were more staff lawyers for the province. Complex cases require a lot of work and lawyers should be able to feel motivaited for the process and fairly compensated.
