I met the Goldblatt lawyers in 2018 in the challenge to Bill 5 of the Doug Ford provincial government which violated the Toronto election and the City’s right to determine its own system of local governance. In an unbelievably short time, the team of lawyers from Goldblatt Partners were able to interview us and put together an amazing defence about the rights of residents and citizens to effective representation. The lawyers worked overtime, did a phenomenal amount of research and mounted an effective defence for the right to voice and political representation. This is especially important for us in terms of getting diverse women elected to Council. Their commitment to a progressive rights-based democracy is a critical contribution to Canada. Amazing lawyers indeed!

I have been working closely with the Ottawa office of GP for several years now. They provide expert and reliable advice on labour law and human rights matters and they know unions! When I need creative and progressive legal thinking, I know to turn to these folks for solid advice.

Best labour law firm in Canada. As a Union President representing over 3500 people covering two workplaces I have worked with several law firms over the past 20 years. In my experience Goldblatt stands out as the most reliable and thorough group of professionals who deliver outstanding results.

I've worked with or met many of the folks at this firm and I've also had the privilege of being their client. They are incredibly dedicated and hard-working, not to mention fantastic lawyers genuinely committed to the public interest! What a gem of a legal practice and culture.

I highly recommend this firm! I have been a very active client of the firm for a number of years now and before that, was represented by the firm as a grievor! Throughout my long history with the firm, I have always been impressed by the dedication, skill and smarts of the lawyers there. As well, because of the diversity of expertise in the firm, they’re able to provide excellent advice on a wide range of employment issues – from pension and benefits to health and safety. I am a satisfied client!
