I was doing research on photography and am trying to track down a possible bylaw that involved taking pictures of people on Winnipeg streets. The Clerk's office in City Hall was most helpful. As for the settings, the city gardeners were out tidying the place up and getting it ready for summer. There is a reasonable cafe off the central square if I recall. I was going to check out more but was interrupted by a fire alarm, so I moved on to other work and left.
There is a most interesting sculpture in the foyer that is worth a look if you are in the area anyway
Beautiful architecture, spacious and well designed, accommodative, definitely a must see for tourists
Was on Main street just outside the city hall on Easter Monday (2018). Extremely cold, but it was sunny and the air was clear. Good photo opportunity :-)
