| Description | Sean McMann is an associate with Barr LLP, where he practices civil litigation. Sean’s particular concentration is in general corporate and commercial liability litigation, as well as builders’ liens, construction law, debt claims, and some employment and human rights matters.
In 2011, Sean graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a minor in music. He then pursued his legal studies, graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Southampton, in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Canada, he was assessed by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada’s National Committee on Accreditation, receiving his certificate of qualification in 2015. Sean articled in the areas of family law, criminal law, and civil litigation. After his bar call, he stayed in civil litigation at the same downtown firm until joining the team at BARR LLP in the late summer of 2021. |
