| Profile | Darrell March practises Insurance Defence Litigation. Darrell specializes in defending Insurers in Motor Vehicle Tort, and Accident Benefits Claims. Darrell has received strong exposure to Accident Benefit Issues. He has made presentations to Insurance Companies relating to Accident Benefit Issues. Most recently, he delivered a presentation to a collection of Insurers on the issues of extra contractual damages since Whitten vs. Pilot. Darrell has successfully argued the Pires v. Zurich at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. This has set the standard for Insured’s repayment of benefits to an Insurance Company. Darrell has also successfully argued the Athanasiadis v. Zurich, which was one of the first cases where costs were awarded to the Insurance Company at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. |
